Artist's Statement
Quarantine has forced my teaching into an online environment. This painting of the ZOOM screen captures a range of emotions from anxiety, exhaustion, curiosity and laughter. Several weeks of portraits are presented in the painting and it is constructed from multiple days of teaching and organized in a non-linear structure.
