Artist's Statement
“Eaton Lake” began as a meditation on a Buddha’s Hand citrus. The lemony flesh turned to granite, and the fingers to craggy cliffs, reaching for the night sky. It is a memory of both my family of origin, now distant stars, and of a place that was sacred to all of us.
