Artist's Statement
Corona Network is a time intensive ink drawing inspired by the coronavirus pandemic. It continues (in addition to other sundry pursuits*) a body of large-scale fine line drawings created over the past fifty years. Art contains alchemical possibilities allowing the artist to achieve personal growth in addition to professional acuity. Patient execution of repetitive mark making, impacts both creator and created. Corona Network can be considered a charm, a totemic emblem warding off the virus for a specific period of time in the artist’s life.
