Artist's Statement
The inner world is its own cosmos. In the forests, mountains, galaxies within me, who do I meet? What is the encounter about? How does it change both of us? This painting is one of a series that explores my many selves and the animal others that exist within me. In this forest encounter, a woman with shamanic and antelope markings meets her panther other. Their conversation is the one you hear.
