Artist's Statement
This photograph is from a series of pictures I’ve been making of a team of art advisors as they sell and deliver art to their customers around the Bay Area. For me this particular image fit the Open Show theme as the past few years the fires and smoke have at times put us on edge, yet life goes on. I’ve made previous series on the art world in Russian museums, Chelsea galleries and at contemporary art fairs. This current series is taken in homes in the San Francisco area that are mostly funded by the ongoing Silicon Valley tech boom.
