Artist's Statement
My work is a conversation between the natural landscape of Northern California and the landscape of internal states of being. Resistance, openness, contraction, expansion, these occur both within us and outside in nature. What most interests me is the dialogue between these two worlds.
“Kite Beach” points to the dialogue between the internal geometry and structure that supports us in 'doing' and the vast openness that grounds us in 'being.'
