Artist's Statement
This piece is part of a larger collection of images based on environments I find while exploring the night. As a synesthete, these places evoke familiar emotions. As a result, I‘m more comfortable in the new worlds I create than I am in everyday environments. It’s more important than ever to build these new worlds that I can finally call home and come back to. A world filled with hope, security, and stability.
