Artist's Statement
An architect inspired by FLLW and study with Bruce Goff, I pursued parallel interests in layman studies of Thermodynamics. Along with many built projects over the years, my studies turned to the conflation of Empirical research culminating with the revelation of Einsteinian physics and the revelation of Darwinian biology with the contemporaneous revelation of the Gurdjieffian culmination of Gnostic research: Einsteinian relativity, Darwinian evolution, relative to the Gurdjieffian understanding of the human instinct-of-religion to be a natural phenomenon.
An “Objective Art,” the intent of my paintings is to inform science of religion and religion of science. In triptych format, the work expresses the ‘geodynamical’ conservation of energy in the formation of mass; the (with the vexations of humanity in the van) biological “psychocatalytical” release of energy from mass, i.e., thought from minerals; the religarent “religious” transpiration of refined energy to solar “cosmodynamical” processes.
