Artist's Statement
“Incandescence” is from a series of mixed media tapestries from a show titled, “Passages”, made from old sketchbooks, journals, letters, photos and ephemera collected over 30 years. Even the back of the piece has elements of the artist's history embedded. It’s a raw archeological meandering which is completely intuitive. Every embedded element has a personal story behind it.
