Artist's Statement
The things that tie him to the earth—money, credit, property, the addiction to constant information and social media, fall away as birds defy the laws of physics pulling him upwards by the tiniest thread. No longer bound to earth, like the Hanged Man in the Tarot Deck he is viewing the world from a new perspective, his expression is calm even happy.
