Artist's Statement
"At the Precipice" is part of my most recent series of works which began during the first months of 2020. It became very clear to me early that the COVID-19 virus pandemic was going to have a significant impact on everyone and everything in our daily lives and that what was "normal" was now going to change possibly forever. Human lives were now at a precipice struggling and fighting between life and death with no answers or cure in sight. There was only faith and Hope. The light in the painting represents Hope. As for me, my faith and choice is about Hope.
