Artist's Statement
Technology and the psychological fallout of over dependence coupled with an ever changing disappearance of historical cultures is in some ways the inspiration for “ Succulents” and other
floral paintings that I am currently producing at this time. In many ways flowers not only adorn our lives and landscapes, but offer an unaffected look into the world of pure architecture and creation itself.
In this respect I chose to paint images that don’t rely on stories or make the viewer think about anything else other than the beauty of life and the origins geographically of where they may come from.
