Artist's Statement
I've been exploring the interconnectedness of living beings since I started painting over 30 years ago. "AllTogetherNow" is a refined distillation of our distinct uniqueness within a whole community proceeding in unison. It's the consequence of a lifetime contemplating how human beings appear dissimilar in form and/or color, which too often leads to overlooking our shared humanity. There's an inherent tension between the various forms and colors in their desire for harmony, balance and equality. "AllTogetherNow" remains hopeful that we are moving toward collective goals despite our differences with a feminine force leading the way.
