Artist's Statement
As an African-American, I use my camera to visually document communities that compose the African Diaspora. I am particularly interested in the Afro-Latino communities of the Americas. My images aim to reflect the connections we all have. My personal belief is that, at our core, we are all very much the same, no matter where we live. I attempt to represent this with my photography.
