Artist's Statement
My Inspiration for Nelson Mandela comes from his constant struggle to end apartheid in South Africa. He has a fierce love for his country and people throughout his life. He fought for Racial Equality and Discrimination which cost him, 27 years of imprisonment for his struggles. But it made him a global symbol for the cause of Human Rights, and an international peacemaker. Mandela served as President of South Africa 1994 Nelson Mandela Died at the age of 95, December 5, 2013. In Johannesburg Gauteng, South Africa, Where he sleeps for eternity.
