Artist's Statement
My artistic direction began to take shape after integrating Eastern spirituality into my artwork. My recent paintings have become Cosmo- centric seeing man and art as an integral part of nature. These concepts are based on Buddhist philosophy and works, with an intention of equanimity that is neither a thought nor an emotion.
Currently, my studio is located in the Oakland. I use the Urban Life as well as cultural graffiti of the city's political and social climate to direct my recent works themes. Sources of inspirations are all around us. Mostly, our soulful purpose as humanity and the role we play in the man made world and the Natural world in which we coexist and share with each other and other living organisms.
