Artist's Statement
Miller Knox is a beautiful and serene regional park located in the hidden city of historic Point Richmond, Ca. Home of my retail store & Art Gallery, The Mom & Pop Art Shop. We are surrounded by trees, birds and sweeping shoreline and from here you can see all 3 bay area bridges. I chose this location because I had a giant blow up swan and nowhere to photograph it. Then I thought of all of the swans in Miller Knox and something clicked! All of my photographs are inspired by an object, clothing, landscape or person. I am inspired by other people's things. Something new that I have never seen or photographed before. I like to have fun and have it come through in my work. To make it classy but humorous and whimsical at the same time.
