Artist's Statement
"Flamenco Fiesta" was inspired by Bay Area flamenco dancer Pamela. Pamela is blessed with looking like she belongs to Spain's most iconic and world-renowned flamenco dynasty "Los Farrucos". Her style of dancing is very natural and inspired by flamenco at its most authentic. I placed myself as the "palmero" on the left as Pamela and I have performed together on numerous occasions. On the right is my lifetime friend, legendary gypsy flamenco artist Juan del Gastor doing "palmas" and singing "por bulerias", flamenco's party music form which is done at all informal and spontaneous gatherings, at weddings, baptisms or any occasion calling for celebration.
