Artist's Statement
An abandoned billboard stands erect, imprisoning the only car insight, altogether a weathered relic of the past. A small homelike structure gives shelter to several bodies in motion. Here roadways span the lengths of lifetimes. A weary rover stops to survey the land, taking in its uncompromising reality and endlessness—another fork in the long road of humankind.
The title, “Where is on down the line, how far away?”, was sourced from the lyrics of Hammond Song, written by Maggie Roche, 1979.
