Artist's Statement
Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun, and the rotation of the Earth.” (Wikipedia) When the high tide recedes every time, there are things being washed away, things being brought in, and the coastline is being reshaped continuously. In the similar way in human society, the tide of humanity and complex social changes ebb and flow restlessly. Its power equally reshapes our condition and fate. These two forms of tides sometimes will intersect at some coincidental space and time.
